How to Be Your Own Doctor
This presentation will address these important and frequently asked questions:
When do we really need a doctor?  What can we do so we don't need one?  Exactly what are these alternative therapies and how can we do them?  What is their safety and effectiveness?  What are natural alternatives to common prescription drugs?  How can we put together a naturopathic home health kit?  What natural health information is reliable, and where can we easily find scientific proof?

Vitamins Against Disease
This intensive will cover which megavitamin therapies really work; what specific dosages are used by doctors to prevent and cure major diseases; how to compare nutritional supplements; nutritional politics, the safety of vitamins; vitamin therapy at home or hospital; the natural vs. synthetic vitamin controversy; optimum dosages for all ages; supporting clinical research; questions and answers.

Forgotten Research in Medicine
From the most prestigious medical and nutritional journals comes all sorts of important clinical research that just never made it to the family doctor's office.  What is this research and where can we find it?  Who did it, and when?  How would it help our health?  And why haven't we heard about it sooner?

Topics in Practical Nutrition
Practical, specific discussion of the role of nutrition, and non-nutrition, in health and disease.  Extensive scientific evidence cited demonstrating the fallacies of the "food groups, eat-a-balanced-diet" nutrition legend.  Natural vs. synthetic vitamins, the alleged necessity for meat in the diet, and the use of chemical preservatives and other additives also considered.

Natural Healing Protocols
Over time, I’ve learned a variety of ways to help people get well and stay well.  By necessity, I also now know how to communicate that knowledge to those interested. Both skills are the product of many other people's dedication and experience.  I've put my own spin on natural therapeutics, collecting what I've personally seen to work and then delivering it to you with as much zing as I can muster.  To quote from Benny Goodman and the jazz age: "It don't mean a thing if it ain't got that swing."

In my college lectures on Clinical Nutrition, there is necessarily an emphasis on covering each nutrient in some detail and then giving different examples of how that nutrient is used in practice.  In NATURAL HEALING PROTOCOLS, I go about it the opposite way: we look at an illness and then learn what we need to effectively treat it.  This includes many practical and some non-nutritional techniques.  Suggestions from students and field practitioners have prodded me to use this problem-based approach.
My goal is to present information so plainly that you will be able to help more people immediately. I hope it is helpful to you.
